Electric, efficient & easy to use. APR® helps you save more than just time.

It’s easy to underestimate just how much you can save by keeping your pool covered. Without the consistent use of a pool cover, you’ll be leaving your swimming pool exposed to the elements, which can be costly.

Using your solar cover or thermal blanket to its fullest potential can help you save tremendously on time, energy, and money by keeping chemicals and heat locked in, and keeping unwanted debris out. In turn, you’ll enjoy a cost-efficient, environmentally friendly, cleaner, and warmer swimming pool.

Swimming Pool Covers

The Benefits of Consistent Cover Use

Reduce Heat Loss

Using a solar cover naturally increases your pool’s temperature by absorbing heat from the sun and trapping it beneath the cover’s surface. This process reduces the rate of evaporation and heat loss by up to 90% when compared to an uncovered swimming pool.

Reduce Chemical Loss

Heat isn’t the only thing that escapes your pool when it’s left uncovered. Like heat, pool chemicals are also lost to evaporation. When your pool is left uncovered, these chemicals are replaced by debris that covers help prevent from getting in your pool.

Automatic Electric Swimming Pool Covers

The Benefits of Automated Covering & Uncovering

Pool covers or pool blankets are an essential part of maintaining your swimming pool. They’re the simplest way to keep your pool energy-efficient and cost-effective. However, they’re almost always underutilized. Getting covers on and off the water can be laborious and time-consuming. After moving it manually just once or twice, most pool owners prefer keeping their cover off the pool, unable to keep up with the constant covering and uncovering. Electric pool covers, also called motorized pool covers, are the easiest way to use your cover consistently without having to crank a manual reel/roller or drag the cover across the pool deck each time

What Makes Our Automatic Covers Different?

Electric pool covers are a great solution, but once you dive into the world of automatic swimming pool covers for inground pools, you’ll likely uncover that electric pool covers aren’t exactly what they’re cracked up to be, and pool owners often look to expensive built-in covers for a solution.

This is because most electric cover reels and rollers that are labeled “automatic” simply mean that the reel will rotate automatically in either direction. However, the motorized rotation of the reel alone cannot cover and uncover the pool on its own. Without manual pulling, the pool cover will likely fall off the reel/roller and into a pile in front of cover system. Automatic pool covers with more sophisticated technology which are actually automatic, rely on tracks and cables or pulley systems to get the cover on and off the pool. These automatic cover systems use tracks or “guides” that are permanently mounted to either side of the pool and must be diligently maintained to prevent jamming and ensure smooth operation each time.

At APR®, we believe in a solution that isn’t as costly, permanent, or complicated. Our automatic motorized swimming pool covers for inground pools are electrically powered and don’t require any manual labour or unnecessary and unsightly equipment to operate independently. Discover How
